Seven stars in the night sky have been turned into a lighting shaped constellation for David Bowie.
Studio Brussels registered a new star constellation for David Bowie together with the MIRA observatory. On the Stardust for Bowie website fans can honour the starman by sharing their favourite song inside the constellation.
“Referring to his various albums, we chose seven stars — Sigma Librae, Spica, Alpha Virginis, Zeta Centauri, SAA 204 132, and the Beta Sigma Octantis Trianguli Australis — in the vicinity of Mars. It was not easy to determine the appropriate stars. The constellation is a copy of the iconic Bowie lightning and was recorded at the exact time of his death,” Mollet added. – Source: I-D/Vice
